Parkside Athletics

Matt Tegtmeier joined Parkside Athletics as a Volunteer Assistant Baseball Coach Sept. 2019. After serving one year as a volunteer, Tegtmeier was hired as the Baseball Graduate Assistant Coach on Sept. 1, 2020.
 
Before joining the staff, Tegtmeier played baseball at McHenry County College in 2015-16, and at Parkside for the 2019 season. At McHenry, he was named Second Team All-Conference, and was a member of the 2016 McHenry County Junior College World Series team.
 
The Crystal Lake, Ill. native graduated from Crystal Lake Central in 2014. At Crystal Lake Central, Tegtmeier was a two-time All-Conference & All-Area selection.
 
Tegtmeier graduated from Parkside in the spring of 2020 with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies.
