Biography

2015: Clocked season-best times of 1:52.81 in the 800-meters and 4:01.34 in the 1,500-meters during the outdoor season. Tallied season-best times of 1:56.48 in the 800-meters and 4:23.03 in the mile during indoors.

2014: Clocked season-best times of 1:56.73 in the 800-meters and 4:14.36 in the 1,500-meters during the outdoor campaign. Finished the indoor season with times of 1:58.29 in the 800-meters and 4:27.99 in the mile.

Junior College: Was a seven-time national champion at Harper College, earning the 2012-2013 Harper Male Athlete of the Year Award.

As a freshman in the fall of 2011, helped the men's cross country team win its first national championship ever in the sport. In the spring, Cunningham won the national title on the track in the 800m, and the team won its fifth national championship in six years.

He added four more national titles to his resume in the 2012-13 school year, beginning with an individual title and second consecutive team national championship at the cross country NJCAA Championships. Cunningham was Harper's first-ever individual champion in the event.

He followed up an impressive fall with two more national titles on the track, one in the 1500m and one as a member a first place 3200m relay team. He also took second in the 800m and earned All-American status for a Hawks team that placed second at the national meet. Finally, Cunningham was voted 2013 Men's Track and Field Team MVP by his teammates.

On top of his outstanding athletic career at Harper, Cunningham excelled in the classroom and earned N4C Academic All-Conference Athlete honors.
