Biography

2015: Played in 19 games for the Rangers, making 16 starts. Finished the season with five RBIs and scored four runs while defensively collected 69 putouts and 16 assists with a .988 fielding percentage.

2014: Played in 25 games for the Rangers, finishing with seven runs, seven hits, and six RBIs.

High School: The left-handed hitting infielder was a three-time All-Conference selection at Jefferson High School. He earned First Team All-District accolades twice while claiming Honorable Mention All-State accolades as a junior. During his senior year, Cottrell was a Third Team All-State selection and was named Conference Player of the Year.
