KENOSHA, Wis. – The Parkside Rangers will face the Upper Iowa Peacocks in a four-game series this weekend. The series opens Saturday, followed by a doubleheader Sunday, and concludes with the final game Monday. All four games will be played at West Liberty High School in West Liberty, Iowa.

Scouting Parkside
The Parkside Rangers enter the weekend with an 8–4 overall record after sweeping the University of Lincoln Missouri last weekend. Offensively, Benjamin Loyd leads the Rangers at the plate, batting .357 through 42 at-bats. Loyd has recorded 15 hits, including two doubles and one home run, while driving in seven RBIs. Joe Mrowiec and Nolan Maciejewski have also been productive offensively, hitting .353 and .343, respectively, with Mrowiec adding three home runs and 12 RBIs this season. Josh Wicker has contributed as well, batting .324 with 12 RBIs.

On the mound, Nathan Ciemny holds a 2–1 record with 14 strikeouts while limiting opponents to a .174 batting average. Brennen Miller has also recorded 14 strikeouts across 11.2 innings pitched. Keegan Waters has been consistent for the Rangers as well, most recently tossing five innings while allowing just two hits and striking out six.

Scouting Upper Iowa
Upper Iowa University enters the weekend with a 6–7 overall record. Offensively, Brock Zimmer leads the Peacocks, batting .327 in 49 at-bats. He has recorded 16 hits, including one double and four home runs, while driving in 11 RBIs. Thane Meiners has also made an impact at the plate, hitting .318 with 14 hits in 44 at-bats, including five doubles and one home run, totaling nine RBIs. On the mound, Gabe Olson leads Upper Iowa with a 2–0 record and 15 strikeouts through 16 innings pitched.

Parkside last faced Upper Iowa in 2025, earning a 7–5 victory. Overall, the Rangers hold an 8–6 record against the Peacocks.
