KENOSHA, Wis.- The Parkside Rangers hit the road for their first GLIAC away series of the season this weekend, traveling to face Saginaw Valley State in a four-game set beginning Friday afternoon.

Scouting Parkside
Benjamin Loyd continues to lead the Rangers offensively, batting .347 with 26 hits and 12 RBIs, ranking 12th in the GLIAC in batting average.
Joe Mrowiec has also been a key contributor at the plate, hitting .300, while Josh leads the team with 17 RBIs.
Trace Kirchberg adds power to the lineup, leading the team with four home runs and contributing 15 RBIs.

On the mound, Brennan Miller leads the team with a 3.27 ERA, recording 21 strikeouts over 22 innings pitched this season. Nathan Ciemney has been a key contributor as well, holding a 3–2 record and earning a big win over No. 7 Wayne State this past weekend. He has limited opposing hitters to a .193 batting average while tallying 28 strikeouts on the year.
Isaiah Terrell also made an impact out of the bullpen, securing his first save of the season this past weekend.

Scouting Saginaw Valley State
Saginaw Valley State heads into the weekend with a 12–9 overall record and a 3–1 mark in conference play. Offensively, Buck Snabes has been outstanding at the plate, leading the Cardinals with a .456 batting average. He has tallied 36 hits, including six doubles, a triple, and a home run, while driving in 24 RBIs. Aaron Bess and Ryan Jarvis have also provided strong support offensively, hitting .381 and .347, respectively with 22 strikeouts on the year.Â
On the mound, Jack Sequin has compiled a 4–1 record with a 2.41 ERA over 33.2 innings pitched. Nathan Masar has been equally impressive, leading the team with 35 strikeouts while posting a 3–0 record and a 2.42 ERA. Out of the bullpen, Dan Wilcome has secured a team-high three saves for the Cardinals.
Historically, the Rangers hold a 5–23 record against the Cardinals. In their most recent meeting in April 2025, the Rangers earned a 6–0 victory.
