No. 6 Parkside Wrestling Prepares for NSIC Road Slate

KENOSHA, Wis. – No. 6 Parkside Wrestling heads north for a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) weekend, opening action against the University of Sioux Falls on Friday, February 6 at 7:00 p.m., before taking on No.11 Augustana University on Saturday, February 7 at 4:00 p.m.
 
The Rangers
The sixth-ranked Parkside Rangers enter the weekend with an 11–2 overall dual record and a 6–1 mark in NSIC competition. Parkside holds a 2–0 all-time record against the University of Sioux Falls, including a dominant 46–0 win in the most recent meeting. Against Augustana, the Rangers are 3-5 overall. In their last meeting, the Rangers won 31-6. No. 6 Parkside enters the weekend fresh off a 26–12 dual victory over No. 12 UMary, highlighted by three technical fall wins.
 
Seven Rangers appeared in the latest NWCA individual ranking. At 125 pounds, Shane Corrigan holds the No. 5 spot, while Jalen Spuhler ranks No.12overall at 149. Easton Worachek checks in at No.4 and Brody Hemauer stands at No. 7 at 165 pounds. The rankings continue with Dajun Johnson at No.3 at 174, while Brady Schuh is slated at No. 13 in the 184-pound class. Jordan Blanchard rounds out the ranked Rangers ranking No.13 at 197 pounds.

The Cougars
The University of Sioux Falls Cougars enter the weekend with a 6–7 overall record and a 2–5 mark in NSIC action, most recently earning a 28–16 victory over the University of Jamestown on January 30.
 
The probable lineup for the University of Sioux Falls is currently unknown.
 
The Vikings
The Augustana Vikings head into the weekend with a 9–6 overall record and a 5–1 mark in NSIC conference play. Their most recent victory was a 44–6 win over the University of Sioux Falls on January 24, before falling 21–14 to No. 12 St. Cloud State this past weekend. The Vikings feature four nationally ranked wrestlers, including No. 15 Luke Koenen at 141 pounds, No. 6 Nolan Ambrose at 149 pounds, No. 5 Coy Gunderson at 174 pounds, and top-ranked Max Ramberg at 197 pounds.
