KENOSHA, Wis. – The Parkside Wrestling team earned recognition for its strong regular season on Friday, as three Rangers collected Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) All-Conference honors.
Dajun Johnson,
Jalen Spuhler, and
Shane Corrigan were each named to the First Team.
At 174 pounds,
Dajun Johnson earned First Team All-NSIC honors after compiling a 24-4 record this season. He captured the Jim Koch WI Open title, finished second at the Findlay Open, and placed fourth at the Midwest Classic. Johnson has recorded 16 bonus-point victories, along with four wins over nationally ranked opponents, and is currently ranked No. 2 in the nation. This marks his second career All-NSIC selection, as he received Second Team honors during the 2024-25 season.
At 125 pounds,
Shane Corrigan earned First Team All-NSIC honors following an impressive 13-3 campaign. He finished as runner-up at the Midwest Classic and is currently ranked No. 4 in the nation in his weight class. Corrigan has tallied 11 bonus-point victories this season, including three wins over ranked opponents. Over the course of his career, Corrigan was named NSIC Rookie of the Year in 2022-23, earned First Team All-NSIC honors in 2022-23, and collected Second Team All-NSIC recognition in 2023-24.
Jalen Spuhler secured First Team All-NSIC honors at 149 pounds after putting together an outstanding 21-1 record. He claimed individual titles at both the Jim Koch WI Open and the Midwest Classic and has totaled 14 bonus-point victories this season. Spuhler also owns five wins over nationally ranked opponents and currently sits at No. 2 in the nation.
The Rangers return to the mat on Saturday, February 28, as they compete at the NCAA Super Region V Championships in Marshall, Minnesota. Action is set to begin at 9:00 a.m.
