SCOUTING WAYNE STATE:
Wayne State has made an immediate impact during its inaugural season, entering Friday's match 8-1-3 overall and 4-1-3 in GLIAC play. The Warriors sit fourth in the conference standings with 15 points after beginning their first season with four consecutive non-conference victories.

The Warriors are coming off a statement weekend that began with a 0-0 home draw against Saginaw Valley State on Friday. Wayne State then traveled to Allendale and earned the first ranked victory in program history, defeating No. 5 Grand Valley State 3-1 on Sunday. Sienna Mroue scored twice and assisted on the third goal, while Olivia Jasniewicz also found the back of the net.

Wayne State has been one of the GLIAC's strongest teams on both ends of the field. The Warriors have scored 23 goals while allowing just eight, producing a plus-15 goal differential. Their 0.696 goals-against average leads the GLIAC and ranks 38th nationally, while their .837 team save percentage is also the best in the conference. All eight goals allowed by Wayne State have come during GLIAC play after the Warriors shut out all four of their non-conference opponents.

Offensively, Wayne State averages 1.92 goals per match, the third-best mark in the GLIAC. Mroue has been the centerpiece of the attack, leading the conference with nine goals and 21 points. She has scored three more goals than any other player in the league and shares the GLIAC lead with three game-winners. Her 23 shots on goal and 1.92 shots on goal per match also lead the conference. Mroue's two-goal performance against Grand Valley State marked her second brace of the season.

Mairin Wessner has added five goals and 11 points while converting a conference-best .720 of her shots on goal. Four different Warriors have recorded multiple assists, while 12 players have contributed at least one.

Redshirt sophomore Kate Helfen, a transfer from Cincinnati, has started 11 of Wayne State's 12 matches in goal. She has made 35 saves while posting a .814 save percentage, 0.73 goals-against average and five shutouts. Her shutout total is tied for the GLIAC lead, while her goals-against average ranks second.

The Warriors were picked to finish seventh in the 10-team GLIAC preseason coaches poll. Wayne State is led by head coach Doug Steinard, who joined the program after spending the previous seven seasons with Michigan Jaguars FC.

Friday will be the first meeting in program history between Parkside and Wayne State and the only scheduled regular-season matchup between the teams in 2026.

SCOUTING DAVENPORT:
Davenport enters the week 7-3-3 overall and 5-3-1 in GLIAC play, sitting alone in third place with 16 conference points. The Panthers will visit nationally-ranked Grand Valley State on Friday before traveling to Kenosha for Sunday's Senior Day matchup.

The Panthers have won three consecutive matches, beginning with a 1-0 home victory over Wayne State on Oct. 4. Davenport then completed a 2-0 road trip last weekend, defeating Ferris State 2-1 in Big Rapids before earning its first victory over Saginaw Valley State since 2023 with another 2-1 result in University Center.

Isabella Workman scored in both victories last weekend, increasing her season total to four goals. Natalie Vance also scored against Ferris State, while Ellary Laverty provided the other goal in the win over Saginaw Valley State.

Davenport averages 1.69 goals per match, ranking sixth in the GLIAC, and has scored 22 goals while allowing 15 for a plus-seven goal differential. Although the Panthers rank eighth in the conference with 12.15 shots per match, they have been efficient with their opportunities. Davenport's .544 shot accuracy leads the GLIAC, and the Panthers have recorded 21 assists on their 22 goals.

True freshman Audrey Muterspaugh leads Davenport with six goals and 15 points, ranking second in the GLIAC in both categories. She has also added three assists and two game-winning goals. Workman ranks second on the team with four goals and 12 points while leading the Panthers with four assists. Seven Davenport players have recorded multiple assists this season.

Goalkeeper Elizabeth Wolter has started 12 matches and played 1,080 minutes in net. She has made 67 saves, posted a .817 save percentage and recorded three shutouts. Her save percentage leads the GLIAC, while her 67 total saves rank third in the conference.

Davenport was picked to finish sixth in the GLIAC preseason coaches poll and is led by fourth-year head coach Joe White.

Sunday will mark the 14th all-time meeting between Parkside and Davenport, with the Rangers holding a narrow 4-3-6 advantage. Parkside won both meetings last season, earning a 1-0 victory in Grand Rapids on Oct. 26 before defeating the Panthers 3-1 in Kenosha on Nov. 8. The three meetings before Parkside's two victories all ended in draws, leaving the Rangers unbeaten in the last five matchups. Parkside has not lost to Davenport since a 3-0 road defeat on Sept. 18, 2022, while its last home loss in the series came Nov. 7, 2021. The Rangers are 3-2-2 all-time against the Panthers in Kenosha.
