ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Parkside's Peter Fusek and Owen Brock were both named to the 2025 D2CCA Baseball All-Midwest Region Team. Fusek led the way with a First Team selection, while Brock garnered Second Team honors.

Fusek, a pitcher and outfielder, posted an impressive season for the Rangers, earning yet another accolade. At the dish, he was one of the most consistent hitters in the nation, collecting 80 total hits and 26 multi-hit games. His eye-popping .426 batting average and 35 stolen bases both led the GLIAC. In addition to his offensive success, Fusek tossed 20 innings on the mound, striking out 15 batters and recording a 3.60 ERA.

Brock, who was behind the plate for the Rangers all season, showcased his offensive prowess in his senior campaign. He posted a .401 batting average and an impressive 1.024 OPS. Brock finished second on the team in RBIs with 38, a total that also ranked ninth in the GLIAC. He slugged three home runs and tallied 16 multi-hit performances. Defensively, he threw out 10 runners attempting to steal.

With his First Team All-Region honor, Fusek will now be placed on the national ballot for All-America consideration. The All-America teams are scheduled to be released on Wednesday, May 28.
