Kenosha, Wis. – Riding a five-game winning streak, Parkside is set to face Purdue Northwest in a pivotal GLIAC home-and-home series this weekend. The Rangers enter the matchup fresh off a sweep over Roosevelt and will look to keep their momentum rolling. The series kicks off Friday at Historic Simmons Field, followed by a Saturday doubleheader at the same venue. The teams will then wrap up the series Sunday in Hammond, Indiana.

After being swept by top-ranked Davenport to open the 2025 GLIAC campaign, the Pride lost two of three to Wayne State last weekend.

They earned their lone GLIAC win in style, walking off Wayne State in 10 innings to open the series.

AJ Reid leads the Pride offense with a .418 batting average and a 1.146 OPS.

Despite Reid's performance, the Pride rank sixth in the conference in team batting average (.298) and have hit just six home runs.

Parkside and Purdue Northwest have already faced off this season in non-conference play, splitting a high-scoring doubleheader. Purdue Northwest claimed the first game 8-6 before Parkside bounced back with an 8-7 victory. All-time, Purdue Northwest leads the series 15-11, but Parkside holds a 4-2 edge when playing in Kenosha.
