How It Happened:
The game opened with a sluggish offensive start, as both teams combined for just 15 points in the first quarter. Two late buckets from Peighton Nelson and Sheridan Flauger gave the Rangers a slim 8-7 lead after the first 10 minutes of play.

In the second quarter, both teams began to heat up, but the momentum shifted in Parkside's favor. Lillie Petersen opened the quarter with an and-one, sparking the Rangers' offense. Flauger followed with five straight points, including a three-pointer, making it clear she was back in. Petersen continued her hot shooting from beyond the arc, knocking down a three for the third consecutive game and extending Parkside's lead to 22-12. The Rangers stayed in rhythm, with additional buckets from Chloe Van Zeeland and Peighton Nelson pushing them to a 29-18 halftime lead.

Nelson once again ignited the offense in the second half, opening with five straight points. She nailed her fourth three-pointer of the season and followed it with a reverse layup off a great assist from Flauger. Cassidy Arni added to the energy, finishing a tough layup through contact and converting the three-point play. Parkside built a 39-25 lead midway through the third quarter. Later in the period, Petersen continued her hot streak, hitting another three-pointer and finishing 2-of-3 from deep. The Rangers took a 51-40 lead into the fourth.

Flauger wasted no time making an impact in the final quarter, drilling her second three-pointer just 13 seconds in. Moments later, she completed a three-point play, pushing Parkside's lead to 57-40. Down the stretch, it came down to free throws, and Flauger delivered—knocking down seven in the final 45 seconds to seal the win.

With the victory, Parkside improved to 13-7 overall and 8-5 in conference play. The team remains dominant on the road, earning its 10th road win of the season.
