SCOUTING NORTHERN MICHIGAN:
The Wildcats come to Kenosha right behind Parkside in the GLIAC table after a tough 0-2 weekend—a 3-1 loss at Davenport on Friday and a 3-0 defeat at first-place Saginaw Valley State on Sunday. Northern Michigan was outshot 24-4 (12-0 SOG) by SVSU, though goalkeeper Asaf Kristal still logged eight saves. Offensively, NMU has scored a league-low 10 goals, but junior forward Luca Rosen is a game-breaker with five goals (all in GLIAC play), three game-winners and a league-high 51 shots; Teun Van Gansewinkel sits top 10 in assists. Kristal has five shutouts and leads the league in save percentage (.819).

Earlier this year, Parkside won 3-1 in Marquette: Rosen put NMU ahead from the spot in the 9th minute, Aguilera-Guillen answered with a 31st-minute penalty, Nico De Andres struck just before halftime, and Yeison Santos added insurance after the break; Rana finished with seven saves. Parkside leads 11-2-2 all time, is 3-2-1 at home, and has won 8 of the last 10 meetings.

SCOUTING ST. CLOUD STATE:
St. Cloud State is fighting for the final GLIAC tournament spot at 4-8-1 overall and 2-6-0 in league play (6 points) after snapping a six-match skid Sunday with a 1-0 win over Purdue Northwest, two days after a 2-1 loss at Roosevelt. Owen Worsdell scored in each match last weekend, while team scoring leader Andrés García (5 goals) continues to pace the attack. The Huskies have allowed the league's second-most goals (22) and scored 14; goalkeeper Ramy Atia ranks third in GLIAC saves per game (4.19) with two shutouts.

These teams met in St. Cloud on Oct. 3, where Parkside won 1-0 behind Keven Sosa's 75th-minute winner from Aguilera-Guillen and a three-save shutout from Rana; SCSU outshot the Rangers 10-5, including 4-1 in corners after halftime. Parkside leads 5-2-2 all time, is unbeaten at home (3-0-1), and the programs have met annually since 2021.
