CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The Parkside wrestling team rounded out the 2025 NWCA National Duals tournament on Saturday. The Rangers picked up victories over #7 Augustana and #8 Grand Valley to secure a 5th place finish.

"Overall great team performance and experience for our team. Can't hang our head on going 4-1 on the weekend and falling to the returning National Champs. We battled and had a lot of great individual victories along the way. We have a lot to build on from our weekend and look forward to our next time out," said head coach Nick Becker. "These guys will continue to evolve and put in the work to be at their best come post season. I'm fortunate to be able to Coach a great group of young men."

The Rangers lone loss would come at the 174 lb bout by fall. Jordan Blanchard and Lloyd Reynolds rounded things out for Parkside, both picking up decisions to punch the Rangers ticket to the fifth-place bout.

Once again Shane Corrigan kick-started the Rangers dominant performance, opening the dual with a massive 16-0 tech fall victory. Teammates Joey Roti and #1 Cayden Henschel followed suit with technical fall victories of their own.
