Rangers Draw with Davenport

Grand Rapids, MI. - In their first conference road match of the season, the Parkside Rangers played to a scoreless draw against the Davenport Panthers. Freshman Lola Minic recorded her third clean sheet of the season, but the Rangers were unable to find the back of the net.

How It Happened:
The Rangers and Panthers battled for 90 minutes in Grand Rapids. Despite creating opportunities, neither team managed to break the scoreless deadlock. Lola Minic was tested on numerous occasions but held firm, making six saves to secure yet another clean sheet. The Rangers generated their first scoring opportunity in the 21st minute, when Emily Mikkelson forced Davenport goalkeeper Elizabeth Wolter to make a save. In the second half, Ava Rizzitano put another shot on target in the 47th minute, but was unable to beat the keeper.
