KENOSHA, Wis – The Parkside men's soccer program is set for a big travel weekend of GLIAC soccer. The No. 21 Rangers will open the weekend with an evening game in St. Cloud Minnesota. They will kickoff against the Huskies at 7 p.m. CDT. The Rangers will then hit the road once more to take on Northern Michigan in Marquette. Kickoff along Lake Superior is set for 2 p.m. EDT.

The Rangers enter the week after picking up a 2-2 draw against Purdue Northwest in the GLIAC opener at Wood Road Field. Chris Estrada recorded the brace in the effort, his first multi-goal game in his career.
SCOUTING ST. CLOUD STATE
The Huskies enter the week sitting at the top of the table in the GLIAC. St. Cloud State knocked off Northern Michigan at home 2-1. Goals were picked up by Philip Caputo and Matt Greenland. Caputo has been on a tear as of late, having had scored in the last four games for the Huskies.
The Huskies have outscored their opponents 14-8 in their five games played so far this season and have only been shut out once. The SCSU defense is still in search of their first clean sheet. They sit at 3-2 overall and 1-0 in GLIAC play.
HISTORY
The series favors the Rangers as they are 4-1-1 overall against the Huskies. In the most recent outing however, the Huskies picked up their first win over the Rangers in a 2-1 victory in Minnesota.
SCOUTING NORTHERN MICHIGAN
The Wildcats enter the week with a 3-1-1 overall record. In the week previous the Wildcats were receiving votes in the USCA polls. After a GLIAC opening loss to the Huskies, the Wildcats did not receive any votes in the most recent poll.
NMU is led by Alessandro Scialanga who has notched three goals and two assists thus far. The Italian has notched a point in all but one game for the Wildcats. In goal for NMU is Nils Cedergren who has recorded three shutouts so far this season along with 10 saves. The freshman has allowed just four goals this season.
HISTORY
The Rangers have picked up 9 wins, 1 loss, and a tie all time against the Wildcats. The Wildcats lone win came back in October of 2021.
