BAY CITY, Mich. – The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference has announced the week 10 players of the week. Mia Johnson has been selected as the GLIAC Softball Player of the Week. This is the first time in her career she's been selected for the award.
 
Johnson is coming off a monster week at the dish. In the six games played she went 9-19 for a .474 batting average. She picked up seven extra base hits across the six-game span including four home runs. After this past week of play she has slid into second in the GLIAC for home runs this season with seven. The sophomore was also stellar in the field with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage with five putouts and 15 assists.

Johnson and the Rangers will be back in action on Friday as they will host Davenport in their final home game of the season. First pitch of game one of the doubleheader is set for 1 p.m. CDT. Coverage for the game can be found at ParksideRangers.com/coverage.
