Kenosha, Wis. – With conference play looming, the Parkside Rangers are preparing to feast on a pair of non-conference matchups during Thanksgiving week. The Rangers' first course will be served Tuesday night as they welcome reigning GLVC Champions, Lewis University, to De Simone Arena for a 5:00 PM tip-off. Dessert will be served on Saturday when the Rangers hit the road to face Saint Cloud State, with tip-off set for 1:00 PM.
Last Week for the Rangers
After a hectic start to the season, the Rangers played only one game last week, giving them time to recharge for the challenges ahead. They most recently captured a victory on the road, conquering Minnesota-Duluth 79-69. The Rangers were led by
Cassidy Arni, who delivered a career-high 36 points—the most by a Ranger in a single game since 2022. Arni was unstoppable, shooting an impressive 15-19 from the field, 3-4 from beyond the arc, while grabbing 7 rebounds and 3 steals.
Alongside Arni's dominance, Sheridan Flauger and Lillie Petersen chipped in 11 points each, as the Rangers set the table for an exciting week ahead.

Scouting Lewis
Riding high from last season's GLVC Championship and NCAA Tournament appearance, the Lewis Flyers are carving out another strong season. They finished last season with an impressive 23-9 overall record, including a dominant 19-3 mark in conference play. Flash forward to this season, the Flyers are 3-1 with victories over Michigan Tech, Purdue Northwest, and Hillsdale.
Taylor Gugliuzza serves as the main offensive catalyst for the Flyers, averaging 14.5 points per game. Fresh off a 20-point performance against Hillsdale, she'll look to carry her momentum into Kenosha. Additionally, Cierra McNamee has been a force on both ends of the floor, averaging 10.3 points and 8.0 rebounds per game.
This matchup with Parkside will be the Flyers' final appetizer before diving into GLVC play.
Scouting Saint Cloud State
Saturday's dessert won't be easy to digest as the Rangers travel to take on the Saint Cloud State Huskies. Off to a stellar start, the Huskies have collected a 3-1 record with wins over Central Oklahoma, Washburn, and Michigan Tech. They've played all their games at home this season and will look to serve up another win in their final home stand of November.
Jada Eggebrecht is Saint Cloud State's biggest scoring threat, reaching double figures in three of her first four games and averaging 13.5 points per contest. Meanwhile, Abigail O'Reilly has been another productive asset, posting 9.3 points and 7.5 rebounds per game.
The Huskies will bring plenty to the table, as the Rangers aim to close out the week on a high note.
History
The Rangers and Flyers have a rich history dating back to 2003. In 34 matchups, Lewis holds a 20-14 edge in the all-time series. However, Parkside has won three of the last four meetings, including a 72-60 victory last season in Romeoville. Meanwhile, the Huskies and Rangers battled for the first time last season. Saint Cloud State used a monstrous 27-point fourth quarter to topple Parkside, 71-64. The Rangers will aim to rewrite that script when they head to Minnesota this weekend.
