KENOSHA, Wis. — The Parkside men's soccer team welcomed the Davenport University Panthers to Wood Road Field on Sunday for a GLIAC match. Parkside struck first but had to rally after two first half Panthers goals. Parkside got the equalizer in the 68th minute and was able to hang on while playing a man down over the last 11 minutes to earn the 2-2 draw.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Tensions were high early between the bitter rivals. Parkside opened the days scoring in the 14th minute. Jamie Le Comte played a thru ball up the sideline that was tracked down by Louis Flores. Flores then played a perfect cross to the head of Piscaglia, who put the finishing touch inside the right post. It was Piscaglia's third goal of the season.
Davenport came storming back with vengeance, scoring off of a deflection on a corner kick in the 19th minute to tie the match at one. They then took the lead in the 31st minute when Andrew Dykstra took advantage of a Parkside defensive miscue.
Parkside came out pushing the tempo in the second half, and finally was able to net the equalizer in the 68th minute. After a Panther foul, Quintero launched a perfect arching free kick from 30 yards out over the outstretched arm of the Davenport keeper for his second goal of the season.
Parkside had to overcome adversity to earn the draw. They played a man down over the last 11 minutes of the match due to a red card.
