KENOSHA, Wis. – The Parkside men's soccer program is set for a GLIAC road trip this upcoming weekend. The Rangers will open the weekend with a 4 p.m. EDT game at Davenport. They will then return to the pitch on Sunday for a match up with No. 19 Saginaw Valley State. Kick off in University Center is set for 2 p.m. EDT.

The Rangers enter the week after picking two critical wins in last week's play. The Rangers scored three total goals on the weekend thanks to
Jules Peycelon,
Chris Estrada, and
Paco Piscaglia. Those three Rangers are currently tied for first on the team with four goals apiece this season. Parkside also enters the week with the reigning GLIAC Defensive Player of the Week in
Daniyal Rana. Rana collected the award after claiming two clean sheets in the Rangers victories last week.
SCOUTING DAVENPORT
This will mark the second meeting between the Panthers and Rangers this season. The first match up took place back on October 6
th at Wood Road Field where the two squads would battle to a 2-2 draw.
The Panthers enter the weekend with a 6-4-4 overall record and a 3-2-3 record in conference play. The Panthers knocked off St. Cloud State in Minnesota last Friday, then followed up that performance with a 2-0 loss in the Upper Peninsula at Northern Michigan.
The Panthers offense is powered by Easton Lopez, who leads Davenport in goals scored with six. Of his six goals this season, three have been game winners. Teammate Cam Power leads Davenport with three assists has also collect two goals of his own.
In the Panthers defensive third they are led by Beau Hudd. Hudd has started 11 matches in net for Davenport. He has faced 135 shots and has made 44 saves. He currently holds a .746 save percentage.

SCOUTING NO. 19 SAGINAW VALLEY STATE
The last time the Rangers and Cardinals squared off this season the Rangers turned in an impressive 3-0 shutout performance against the then No. 16 ranked Cardinals. The now No. 19 Cardinals are riding a four-game win streak and have won four out of their last five since the 3-0 loss to Parkside.
With an overall record of 8-4-0 and 5-3-0 conference record the Cardinals enter the week tied for first place in the GLIAC standings. Their offense is facilitated through Mzo Mthembu. Mthembu leads the Cardinals goals scored this season with six. Teammates Jonny Monney and Jayden Cameron are hot on his heels with five goals apiece.
Defensively the Cardinals rely on Nick Kay between the posts. The junior has appeared in all 12 of SVSU's matches this season, making a total of 33 saves and carrying a .717 save percentage.
