HAMMOND, Ind. -- The Parkside women's soccer team opened this weekend's action at Purdue Northwest on Friday afternoon. The Rangers would fall to the Pride in a close 1-0 scoreline.

The Pride would jump on the board in the opening half of play. They would score a 24th minute goal to go ahead 1-0. Parkside was outshot in the half 13-3.
The second half was a different story for the Rangers as they would put up seven shots to PNW's two. Despite the offensive effort, the Rangers would not be able to find the back of the net to capture the equalizer. and would fall 1-0.
