Parkside Ranked Fourth In NWCA Poll, Six Individuals Ranked

MANHEIM, Pa. – The third ranking of the regular season was released by the National Wrestling Coaches Association on Monday. Parkside wrestling remained at No. 4 in the team rankings with six individuals ranked at their respective weight classes.
 
The Rangers remained at No. 4 as a team this week. Parkside has continued their dominance in duals, posting a perfect 7-0 record (5-0 NSIC) this season. Parkside has not lost a dual since the 2021-22 season, winning 18 straight.
 
Cayden Henschel moved up to No. 2 in the 141lb class this week. Henschel is 16-1 on the season and has won five straight. He has three wins by tech fall and five major decisions.
 
Shane Corrigan is at No. 3 in the 125lb class this week. Corrigan is 20-2 on the season and has won seven straight. He has one win by fall, 12 wins by tech fall, and four major decisions.
 
Matthew Chi is at No. 6 in the 133lb class this week. Chi is 26-5 on the season with wins in six of his last seven bouts. Chi has two wins by fall, four wins by tech fall, and five major decisions
 
Brody Hemauer jumps into the rankings at No. 6 in the 174lb class. He is 17-6 on the season and has three straight wins, including a win by major decision over then-ranked No. 5 Max Bruss. He has five wins by fall, four wins by tech fall, and four wins by major decision.
 
Reece Worachek is No. 8 in the 184lb class this week. He is 18-5 on the season and has won three straight. He has two wins by fall, two wins by tech fall, and seven wins by major decision.
 
Jalen Spuhler is No. 12 in the 149lb class this week. Spuhler is 18-5 on the season and has won three straight. Spuhler has five wins by fall, six by tech fall, and five wins by major decision.
