HOUGHTON, Mich. - The Rangers women's soccer team entered today's match after picking up a draw against #23 Northern Michigan. Michigan Tech entered today after picking up a win over Purdue Northwest on Friday. After conceding a first half goal, the Rangers were unable to find the game tying goal and dropped their first match of the season. THe Huskies move to 3-1-2 on the year, while the Rangers fall to 3-1-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Huskies went up by one goal in the 25th minute after the Rangers conceded a foul about three yards outside the 18 yard box. Seulgi Lee converted the free kick and the score moved to 0-1 in favor of Michigan Tech.
The Rangers searched for an equalizer for the final 65 minutes of the match. The best chance came from
Alexis Baker in the 53rd minute when she sent a ball just over the crossbar.Â
