LANCING, Mich. --- The Parkside baseball team closed out the 2023 season on Friday afternoon, falling to the Davenport Panthers by a final score of 10-5 in an elimination game at the 2023 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletics Conference (GLIAC) Tournament.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Ryan Brouch led the offense, going 2-4 with two RBIs and a run scored.
- Angel Rades scored two runs and reached base three times including a double.
- Noah Tyrrell also had two hits, going 2-4 with a double.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Davenport jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the third, plating a run on a double before a two run homer to left made it 3-0. Parkside got two back in the top of the fourth. Rades and Brouch led off the inning with back-to-back singles. Two RBI groundouts followed, pulling Parkside within 3-2.

The Panthers then scored six straight, extending their lead to 9-2 through seven. Parkside tried to claw back, plating two on a Brouch single in the eighth and one on a
Jared Heinzen homer in the ninth, but ultimately the Rangers would fall 10-5.
