St. Cloud State 12, Parkside 2
The Parkside softball team closed their weekend road trip to Minnesota with a pair of games against the Bemidji State Beavers and the St. Cloud State Huskies. The Rangers got on the board in the first inning when Meagan Maza took a 1-2 pitch back up the middle for an RBI single, scoring Rylee Baetz. The Beavers evened the score at 1-1 in the second inning with an RBI single. The Rangers took back the lead in the third inning with a homerun from Mia Johnson, putting the Rangers up 2-1. The Green and White added another run in the fourth with an RBI single to left field from Jadynn Powell; Megan Medlin scored on the play to give the Rangers a 3-1 lead. The Rangers offense would end there, and the Beavers would tally three runs in the sixth inning to win the game 4-3.

HOW IT HAPPENED VS SCSU
The Huskies jumped out in front right away in the first inning on an RBI double. The Rangers offense was rolling in the second inning, with Baetz tripling to score Medlin to tie the game. Baetz would later come home to score on a sacrifice fly from Powell to give the Rangers a 2-1 lead. However, the Rangers momentum would end after the top of the second, as the Huskies would score six runs in the second inning and another five runs in the third to earn a blowout victory.
