KENOSHA, Wis. - The Parkside men's soccer team enters this weekend on a hot streak as they have won their last four GLIAC contests and sit at the top of the table in the GLIAC. Their hot play is thanks to great offensive play that is balanced by an experienced defense. The Rangers now have nine different players to have notched goals this season after Chris Estrada bagged his first two goals of the season over the weekend. Â
Awaiting the Rangers is another road trip as they will travel to face Northern Michigan on Friday and turn around and head to St. Cloud State for a battle on Sunday. Parkside will look to stay hot as they enter the second half of GLIAC play looking to stay unbeaten.Â

SCOUTING NORTHERN MICHIGANÂ
The Rangers and Wildcats match up again after playing each other just under two weeks ago at Wood Road Soccer Field. That match was decided by an 80th minute Lars Popp header off a Matteo Quintero corner. Â
Since facing the Rangers in Kenosha, the Wildcats have only played in two matches, dropping both matches. Of those two matches, one was against GLIAC counterpart St. Cloud State. The Wildcats dropped the match in a 0-2 scoreline. Â
The Wildcats have struggled so far this year in GLIAC play, sitting at just 1-4 through five games. Their lone GLIAC victory came back on Sept. 15 when they topped the Davenport Panthers in a shutout 1-0 scoreline. They have yet to have picked up another win since. Â
The Rangers defense will look to continue the Wildcats goalless streak. Northern Michigan hasn't scored in 454 minutes of play. They have been outscored 6-0 in their last five matches. Â
SCOUTING ST. CLOUD STATEÂ
The Rangers and Huskies match up again after squaring off two weeks ago where the Rangers came out victorious 2-0. Goals in that match were scored by the Rangers top goal scorers in Edgar Heredia Victoria in the 63rd minute and Alejandro Martinez in the 90th minute. Â
Since that Sept. 22 battle at Wood Road Field, St. Cloud State has played in two GLIAC matches and picking up two wins over Purdue Northwest and Northern Michigan. It's notable that their victory against the Pride broke PNW's unbeaten streak in the GLIAC this season. In the two matches played the Huskies shut out and outscored their opponents 3-0. Picking up two wins aided the Huskies tremendously in the GLIAC standings as they now sit in third place behind Purdue Northwest and Parkside. Â
The Rangers enter Sunday's match still not having dropped a match to the Huskies. In order to keep that streak alive, they must challenge the Huskies keeper Dylan De Baldo as he's coming off two shutout victories including an eight save clean sheet against Northern Michigan. Â
