KENOSHA, Wis. - The Parkside women's soccer team looked to bounce back on Sunday afternoon against Ferris State. The Rangers entered the match after dropping to the Saginaw Valley State on Friday 0-1. After the full 90 minutes of play, neither team was able to find the back of the net and the match ended in a 0-0 draw. 

Inside the Box Score

• The Rangers entered the match having lost to Ferris State in their last seven matches played. Today's tie now breaks that streak that started back in 2018.
• The Rangers and the Bulldogs had plenty of opportunities to notch a goal. The Rangers merely outshot the Bulldogs 15-14 in the afternoon battle.
• Senior Mia Guyton gets credit for her first solo shutout after an eight save afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Rangers and Bulldogs battled for 90 minutes and gave themselves plenty of opportunities to go in front. Senior goalkeeper Mia Guyton was once again stellar in goal. The Franksville, Wis. native racked up eight saves to salvage a point in the contest. The best opportunities came in the second half for the Rangers. Of the seven second half shots the one of the better opportunities came late in the match with five minutes remaining from the foot of Mia Dosen. Dosen, who made her return to the team this weekend after her international call up to the Croatian national team, was played a ball off a set piece from Alair Posard and would take a touch and send the ball just over the crossbar.
