Records Fall as Track & Field Charges Into Conference Week

The Parkside track & field teams split up and traveled to three different meets over the last few days. The weekend began with the Drake Relays on Thursday, and continued with the UW-Whitewater Drake Alternative and the Kip Janvrin Open on Friday and Saturday. The Rangers took advantage of strong competition and put up several strong performances in their final week of the regular season.

DRAKE RELAYS RESULTS
The men's 4x800m relay team, which featured Tommy Martin, Sean Waldvogel, Austin Depuydt and Uriah Aili, placed sixth and broke the school record with a time of 7:41.84.
The women's distance medley relay, composed of Katie Scott, Emily Elford, Carolin Bothe and Katja Bauerle, placed second and broke the school record with a time of 11:59.33.

KIP JANVRIN RESULTS
Bauerle won the 1,500m run with a time of 4:33.84.
Bothe placed third in the 800m run with a time of 2:13.9.

WHITEWATER ALTERNATIVE RESULTS
Walker Miller came away with the victory in the 3,000m steeplechase with a time of 9:27.91.
Ella Rondeau placed third in the 3,000m steeplechase with a time of 11:49.10.
Grace Mildice placed fourth in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:11.38
Grady Davis placed sixth in the 1,500m run with a time of 4:04.64.
Victoria Lendal placed seventh in long jump with a distance of 4.87 meters.
