KIRKSVILLE, MO. - The Parkside baseball team wrapped up their four-game weekend series with a doubleheader against the Truman State Bulldogs. The Rangers jumped out to an early lead in game 1 and held on to earn their first win of the season. The Green and White then jumped out to a 1-0 lead in game 2, but the offense went cold and the Bulldogs came back to win the back end of the doubleheader.

Brouch led the way at the plate, going 3-7 with two RBIs on the day. Leair hit his first career home run to help the Rangers to the win in game 1.
Noah Gerritson earned the win on the mound in game 1 as he threw 6.0 innings while allowing two runs and striking out four batters.
Kaleb Schulist was handed the loss in game 2, despite not allowing an earned run in 3.0 innings of work.
