KENOSHA, Wis.- The Parkside Rangers played their final home game of the regular season on Saturday against the Lake Superior State Lakers. It was Senior Day for the Rangers, as they recognized
Claire Jakaitis,
Hannah Plockelman,
Alexis Vaughn, and student manager Nate Harris. The Rangers looked to close out their home schedule with a win and make it eight straight victories.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Rangers got to a slim lead in the first quarter, leading 19-18 with
Alyssa Nelson leading the charge with 9 points. The wealth was shared in the second quarter, with seven players scoring for the Rangers. Plockelman led the quarter with 9 points as the Rangers jumped out to a 44-32 lead. The Rangers got hot in the third quarter, shooting 71% from the field. The Rangers went into the fourth quarter with a 70-47 lead. The Ranger bench finished off the fourth quarter to lead the Rangers to their eighth straight win.
