Box Score KENOSHA, Wis. – Senior Alyssa Nelson on the Parkside women's basketball team has been named the GLIAC North Player of the Week, the conference office announced on Monday. This is Nelson's third GLIAC Player of the Week Award this season.

Nelson led the Parkside women's basketball team to a 67-66 win over Davenport on Saturday.  Nelson scored a season high 32 points and grabbed three rebounds on the way to the victory.  She also hit the game winning shot as time expired to earn the Rangers eighth win of the year.  Nelson continued to shoot efficiently, going 11-18 from the field, 4-7 from three-point land, and 6-7 from the free throw line.

Parkside returns to De Simone Arena tonight for a rescheduled game against Purdue Northwest at 5:30 p.m. The Rangers welcome in Northern Michigan on Thursday, Feb. 3 for Pink Night. The women tipoff at 5:30 p.m. followed by the men's game. On Saturday, fans are encouraged to wear black for Jockey Day at the Games when Parkside will face Michigan Tech.
