KENOSHA, Wis. – The Parkside women's basketball team hosted Wayne State on Thursday night. The Rangers looked to pick up their fourth conference win, as the Warriors looked to earn their sixth conference win on the year. The Rangers found themselves in control for most of the game, but a fourth quarter surge by the Warriors left the Rangers in the loss column.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Rangers had the lead at the end of the first quarter, outscoring the Warriors 23-19. The second quarter was one filled with momentum swings, as the Rangers were able to go into the half with a seven-point lead. The Warriors held on through the third quarter, but the Rangers still led by eight heading into the final quarter. The Warriors got hot in the fourth quarter shooting 62% and outscoring the Rangers 28-19 to win the game.
A LOOK AT THE BOX SCORE
Alyssa nelson led the Rangers with 26 points and seven rebounds.Â
Hannah Plockelman scored 19 points and grabbed five rebounds.Â
Paty Gallasova ended the game with 11 points, and
Maddy Harrison ended with 10. Kate Sherwood led the Warriors, scoring 25 points and hitting the game winner in the final seconds.
