Upper Iowa 2, Parkside 1
The Rangers hosted the Upper Iowa Peacocks in their third home game of the season. It was a defensive match-up, which took an extra 12 minutes to decide a winner. In the end, it was the Peacocks that were able to rise to the top and win the match.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Peacocks quickly got on the board first in the 8
th minute with a goal. This would be the only goal scored in the first half. Things began to look bleak for the Rangers as they were being held scoreless as time was winding down in regulation. However, momentum changed quickly in the 82
nd minute as sophomore
Alexis Baker found the back of the net on a rebound shot following a shot on goal by freshman
Alexis Bolger. Regulation ended with the score still tied 1-1. In the 103
rd minute, Upper Iowa's Liv Wildeman scored the winning goal to send the Peacocks home happy.
STATWORTHY
Sophomore
Izzy Guyer made her season debut in goal for the Rangers, tallying three saves while facing five shots on goal. Baker's goal was her second of the year, following her goal on Friday against Drury. She now leads the Rangers in goals, points, and shots on goal.

Parkside will begin its GLIAC schedule on Friday, Sept. 17
