#2 St. Cloud State 37, #9 Parkside 3
The No. 2 ranked St. Cloud State wrestling program, who are the 3-time defending National Champions and haven't lost a dual since the 2016-17 season, took down No. 9 ranked Parkside in the Rangers' first NSIC dual of the season Friday night at De Simone Gymnasium. No. 4
Shane Gantz was the lone member of the Parkside squad to come away with a win against the Huskies.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Huskies came out and earned decisions in the first three matches, taking a quick 9-0 lead on the Rangers. The decisions came at 141 with the No. 1 ranked wrestler, 149 with the No. 10 ranked wrestler and 157 with the No. 3 ranked wrestler for SCSU. That was followed by Gantz earning Parkside's first and only individual win of the night as he beat No. 8 Devin Donovan in a tough 5-2 decision.

Following Gantz' win, No. 12 ranked
Job Ayala was pinned at 174 pounds by No. 13 Dom Murphy to put SCSU up 15-3 and No. 13
Reece Worachek dropped a tough decision at 184 to No. 10 William Pitzner to make it 18-3. Before the match came back around to the 125 weight class, SCSU's No. 5 Noah Ryan won by fall at 197 and
Nate Lloyd dropped a hard-fought 5-4 decision at 285. The Huskies earned a win by forfeit at 125 and the final match of the day went to No. 6 Garrett Vos over freshman
Joey Roti at 133 pounds.

WHAT'S NEXT
The next time Parkside is in action is Dec. 18-19 at the Midwest Classic, which is held in Indianapolis, Ind. They'll return home on Friday, Jan. 21 at 7 p.m.
