HOW IT HAPPENED
The Lakers got on the board first in the 25th minute with a goal from Mackenzie Jones.  The Rangers kept the game close, trailing by one goal until the 90th minute, when the Lakers scored the second goal of the day with a penalty kick by Hannah Becker.

STATWORTHY
The Lakers defense dominated, as they prevented the Rangers from taking a single shot during the match.  Sophomore Izzy Guyer was in goal for the Rangers and tallied 15 saves on 17 shots on goal.

WHAT'S NEXT
The Rangers have been eliminated from the 2021 GLIAC tournament.  Their season concludes with a record of 3-14-2.  The Rangers look to return a majority of their starters next season, with names like sophomore Alexis Baker, freshman Abbey Canfield, and redshirt-junior Myah Strokosch returning to lead the Rangers on the field, as well as Guyer and freshman Mia Guyton returning in goal in 2022.
