Parkside 1, Purdue Northwest 0
The Rangers opened the weekend with a match on the road against the Purdue Northwest Pride. The Rangers took the first matchup between these two teams, and looked to finish off the series sweep today. The match proved to be a very defensive battle, as redshirt-junior
Dejan Rokvic's 61
st minute goal was enough to seal the deal as the Rangers earned another road win.

Rokvic tallied his second goal of the season on a header which came off a free kick assist by redshirt-freshman
Osvaldo Sanchez Arellano. This was the first assist of Sanchez Arellano's career. Junior
Alexandre Durand started in goal for the Rangers and tallied seven saves in the shutout victory. This is Durand's fourth shutout performance and third shutout win of the season.
WHAT'S NEXT FOR THE RANGERS
Parkside will finish off the weekend with a match against Davenport on Sunday, Oct. 24. Kickoff is at 1 p.m.  Davenport handed the Rangers their first loss the season, so the Rangers will be out for revenge. The Rangers return home next Friday, Oct. 29, for a rematch against the Upper Iowa Peacocks as part of a Parkside Soccer doubleheader.Â
