HOW IT HAPPENED
After the Pride scored the first basket of the game, Parkside ripped off a 12-2 run to follow that and never trailed again. The Rangers pushed it to a double-digit lead with 2:47 to play and ended the first quarter with a 27-15 advantage after hitting 6-of-10 3-pointers. PNW battled back in the second quarter, outscoring Parkside 16-9 to bring the score to 38-31 at the break.

In the second half, both teams struggled offensively for the most part, but the Rangers pushed the lead back to double-digits early on the third quarter. Not long after, PNW brought it to a 47-44 ball game with 1:12 to play in the third, but never overcame the Parkside lead. The Rangers held off the Pride in the fourth quarter, outscoring the home team 14-10 to earn the road victory.

WHO LED THE WAY
Senior Carolina Rahkonen led all scorers with 22 points and nearly notched a double-double, tallying nine rebounds. Redshirt-sophomore Alyssa Nelson had 17 points, with 10 coming in the first quarter, and six rebounds while redshirt-senior Taylor Stephen had 13 points and six assists.
