HEAR FROM COACH CONELY
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Rangers started out slow and had to dig themselves out of a 16-4 deficit midway through the first quarter, and they did just that, using a 27-4 run that extended over 10-minutes long to take a double-digit lead midway through the second quarter. The Rangers took a 41-30 lead into the half after Cabrero Siñol connected on a 3-pointer with less than a minute to play in the first half.
In the third quarter, the Cardinals battled back and came within two points at 46-44 at one point. Parkside led 54-51 going into the fourth quarter, where the Cardinals tied it up early on but were never able to take the lead. The Rangers pushed their lead to double-digits again, but the Cardinals kept it close in the end.
