Parkside wrestling won its third straight dual with the 22-16 victory Friday night at Lake Erie College, all of which have come on the road. The dual came down to the heavyweight match, with redshirt-freshman
Nate Lloyd sealing the victory with a tough win in double overtime.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Parkside jumped out to a 13-0 lead early on thanks to Joe Arroyo, No. 6
Airk Furseth and
Pernevlon Sheppard all earning wins. Arroyo opened the night with a 10-2 major decision and Furseth pinned his man in 3:37. The Storm bounced back, earning back-to-back decisions and a pin over No. 12
Shane Gantz at 165. With the Rangers up 13-12,
Edgar Heredia earned a 9-4 decision at 184 and
Tanner Anthony followed that with a 2-1 decision at 184. Lake Erie brought it to a 19-16 match with a major decision at 197 and it came down to the final match between Lloyd and Devin Uzelac. Lloyd battled the whole way, earning a 4-3 win in tiebreak to seal the victory for Parkside.

WHAT'S NEXT
Parkside has one final weekend of action in front of them before the NCAA II Super Regionals in Sioux Falls, S.D. on Feb. 29. The Rangers will hit the road and head to Indianapolis for the UIndy Duals next weekend.
