The Parkside wrestling team won its second straight road dual with a 30-12 victory over Davenport Sunday afternoon in Grand Rapids, Mich. The Rangers have a dual at Lake Erie College on Friday, Jan. 31 and the UIndy Duals on Feb. 8 before competing in the NCAA II Super Regional V.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The first three in the lineup, Joe Arroyo, No. 6
Airk Furseth and
Pernevlon Sheppard, got the Rangers out to a big advantage. Arroyo earned a major decision, followed by a technical fall by Furseth at 133 and a technical fall at 141 by Sheppard. After a Davenport decision,
Jake Polka and
Shane Gantz earned back-to-back decisions at 157 and 165 to put the Rangers up 20-3. The Panthers took a decision at 174, followed by a forfeit win for
Tanner Anthony at 184 that wrapped up the Rangers victory.
Nate Lloyd earned a tough 3-2 decision at 285 to finish out the dual.
