SIOUX, FALLS, S.D. - Fresh off a late night in Mankato, Minn., the Parkside wrestling team had an early morning at Augustana, where the Rangers dropped both dual matches Friday morning. Parkside falls to 1-3 this season and returns to action on Saturday, Jan. 4 at 7 p.m. at home against MSU-Moorhead.

The duo of Joe Arroyo and No. 8
Airk Furseth got the Rangers off to a good start again, earning a 6-1 decision and a 4-2 decision, respectively, to open the match. After a Vikings' major decision at 141 pounds,
Nathan Smith pinned Keaten Schorr to put Parkside up 12-4 in the match.

The Vikings earned a decision at 157 and
Shane Gantz answered with a 6-4 decision at 165. Augustana was able to win the final four matches, with a major decision and three decisions.

Arroyo and Furseth both won by medical forfeit at 125 and 133 to open the second match of the day, putting the Rangers up 12-0 early on. However, the Rangers were only able to claim the match at 157 as
Nathan Hensley earned a 10-7 decision over Tyler Cunningham. The Lopers finished the match with five straight wins, including a pin and a major decision.
