The trio of Hayley Maystead, Carolina Rahkonen and Ali Bettencourt combined to score 64 of the team's 79 points on the day. In Maystead's final game, the senior went for a career-high 24 points and grabbed 10 rebounds; she also went 4-of-6 from beyond the arc. Rahkonen finished with 22 points and four rebounds while Bettencourt finished with 18 points and went 13-of-14 at the free-throw.

Parkside, who finished 9-21 overall and 5-13 in the conference this season, led early on in the first quarter, but Indy fought back and ended the quarter with a 22-17 advantage. The second quarter is where the Rangers took over, as the team opened on a 6-0 run and ended the final few minutes on a 15-4 run, taking a 42-33 lead into the half.

Indy battled back in the second half, outscoring the Rangers 24-15 in the third quarter. A couple of triples by Bettencourt and Maystead early in the quarter pushed the Ranger lead to 10 points on two occasions, but the Greyhounds tied it up at 57-57 to end the third. After Indy took an early lead, Parkside grabbed it right back and held on to a short lead the rest of the way. The lead dropped down to three with :24 to play and the Rangers iced it away at the free-throw line.

With the 2017-18 season in the books, three Rangers finished the year scoring in double-figures in Bettencourt (14.8), Rahkonen (12.0) and Maystead (10.5). Maystead is the lone player not returning to the team next season.
