Saginaw Valley State 4, Parkside 0

The Rangers entered the game today as the sixth seed and they took on Saginaw Valley State who earned the three seed with a record of 11-3-3. Parkside had 10 shots throughout the game with two on goal. The Rangers will finish out the 2018 season at 6-10-2 overall and went 4-5 in the GLIAC.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Cardinals showed up to the match boasting nine shutouts on the season. The Rangers only allowed Saginaw Valley State one goal during the first half which in the 23rd minute. In the second half, the Cardinals added goals in the 50th, 68th and 87th minute, making it a 4-0 game.

Multiple Rangers tallied shots this game, including Rivera, who led Parkside with two, senior Chloe Couves and redshirt-senior Kayleigh Moore both earning one. Other players who tallied shots on goal includes junior Andrea Eliason and freshman Grace Javaras. Bratel tallied 11 saves throughout her 90 minutes in net for Parkside.
