The Cardinals showed up to the match boasting nine shutouts on the season. The Rangers only allowed Saginaw Valley State one goal during the first half which in the 23rd minute. In the second half, the Cardinals added goals in the 50th, 68th and 87th minute, making it a 4-0 game.
