SOMERS, Wis. -- After having its four-match winning streak halted at Bellarmine, the Wisconsin-Parkside women's soccer team will seek to resume its winning ways when it hosts Illinois Springfield on Friday (Sept. 30) in a Great Lakes Valley Conference match at 2:30 p.m. at Wood Road Field.
The Rangers, who enter the contest with a 4-3-1 overall record and a 4-2 mark in the GLVC, are currently tied for fourth in the conference standings with Missouri-St. Louis and McKendree.
Wisconsin-Parkside averaged 2.5 goals per match during its four-match winning streak and also limited the opposition to just four goals.
Lexi Porter leads the Rangers with three goals for the season, while
Jillian Hetfleisch and
Brooke Munroe have each tallied two goals.
Taylor Schiffer-Jander has three helpers to pace the team, while
Lauren Bialas has two assists for the year.
All three Ranger keepers have spend time in goal this season.
Adrianna Bratel and
Sarah Dobrowolski have each played in four matches, while
Kayla Tabalske has made two appearances. Bratel is 1-1-1 on the season with a 1.24 goals against average, while Dobrowolski has a 2-2 record and a 2.08 goals against average. Tabalske has yet to allow a goal in her 117 minutes of play.
Illinois Springfield enters the match with a 5-4 overall record and a 2-4 record in GLVC play.
