SOMERS, Wis. --
Antonio Gonzalez scored a goal and the Wisconsin-Parkside defense limited Truman State to just two shots on goal as the Rangers tied the Bulldogs 1-1 in a Great Lakes Valley Conference match on Friday at Wood Road Field.
Gonzalez scored his team-leading fourth goal of the season in the first period to stake the Rangers to the lead.

Antonio Gonzalez picked up the ball and beat Truman State keeper Zac Suazo on an angled shot from the right putting Wisconsin-Parkside up 1-0 in the 39th minute.
Truman State rallied late in the second period to knot the score. Working off a corner kick, Joe Reft flicked the ball past Ranger goalie
Nate Kitchell to even the score at 1-1 in the 83rd minute.
Truman State had the only shot in the first overtime period and the Rangers mustered three shots in the second overtime session. The Rangers had an opportunity to win the match in the second overtime when
Antonio Gonzalez beat Suazo, but a Bulldog defender kicked the shot aside to keep the match deadlocked.
Truman State finished with a 10-9 advantage in shots, but the Rangers held a 14-6 margin in corner kicks.
Antonio Gonzalez led the Rangers with three shots, while
Reyes Perez added two shots.

Issey Valadez and
Vic Vera added shots for the Rangers.
Nate Kitchell turned aside one shot in goal to earn the draw and run his record to 4-2-1 on the season.
Wisconsin-Parkside is 5-6-2 overall and 3-6-2 in league play, while Truman State is 5-5-3 overall and 3-5-2 in the GLVC.
Wisconsin-Parkside returns to action on Sunday (Oct. 16) when it hosts Quincy in a GLVC match beginning at 12 p.m. The match will also represent Senior Day for
