MEQUON, Wis. (Jan. 22, 2015)-- Aaron Heidersheid emerged with a 10-4 victory at the 149-pound weight class, tipping the scales in favor of the University of Wisconsin-Parkside on Thursday night as the Rangers rallied past host Concordia University Wisconsin, 21-19, in a dual match inside R. John Buuck Field House.

The Rangers (4-2) trailed by five points with two bouts remaining before netting wins from both Adam Yde and Heidersheid. Yde posted a 10-1 major decision victory at 141-pounds, closing Parkside within one point before Heidersheid came through for the Green and White, collecting a 10-4 win over Quinton Lueck at 149-pounds for three points to secure the come from behind win.

Parkside won the opening two weight classes of the night with Brandt Welcher prevailing 4-3 at 157-pounds and Nick Fishback tech falling Casey Kenealy at 165-pounds but the Falcons (4-2) answered by winning the next three weight classes. Matt Halverson pinned Paul Carter in five minutes and 24 seconds but CUW claimed a forfeit at 125-pounds and a win by decision at 133-pounds to grab a 19-14 lead with just two matches left.

The Rangers return to the mat on Friday, Jan. 30, traveling to suburban Chicago for the Wheaton College Pete Willson Invitational.
