KIRKSVILLE, Mo. (Sept. 22, 2013)-- Matt Langley was a one-man wrecking crew on Sunday afternoon, tallying a pair of goals to negate an early University of Wisconsin-Parkside advantage as the Rangers fell 2-1 to host Truman State University in a Great Lakes Valley Conference men's soccer match at Bulldog Soccer Park.

The Rangers (2-3-1, 1-3 GLVC) opened the scoring in the sixth minute of play with Ryan Yang tallying his first collegiate goal off an assist from Ryan Shogren. The assist was Shogren's team-leading third of the season.

The Bulldog's (4-2, 2-2 GLVC) responded with an equalizer from Langley just three minutes before halftime off an assist from Chris Mansfield. Mansfield and Langley would hook up in the second half with Langley collecting the eventual game-winner in the 62nd minute, beating the keeper with a header off a free kick.

Marcos Perez logged all 90 minutes between the posts for the visiting Rangers, finishing the game with four saves. His counterpart, Drew Garrone, also collected four stops on the afternoon.

UW-P finished the contest with a 14-10 edge in shots, including a 9-5 advantage in the second 45 minutes of play.

The Rangers return home this week to Wood Road Field, hosting the University of Missouri-Saint Louis on Friday at 3:30 p.m.
