MARYLAND HEIGHTS, MO. (Oct. 5, 2012)-- An Ashley Meyer goal in the 103rd minute lifted the visiting University of Wisconsin-Parkside women's soccer team to a 1-0 double overtime victory over host Maryville University in a rain soaked Great Lakes Valley Conference affair at Scott Gallagher Field.

Meyer netted the game's lone score after 102:24 had elapsed in the contest, drilling a shot from 12 yards out off an assist from Madison Pickett to give the Rangers (7-3-1, 6-3 GLVC) their fourth straight victory.

UW-Parkside outshot the Saints (2-7-3, 1-5-3 GLVC) by a 8-6 margin in a game marred by a 35-minute lightning delay.

Michelle Girard tallied her third clean sheet of the season, turning away three shots while Maryville's Mandy Browning suffered the loss, recording four saves and allowing one goal.

The Rangers return to the pitch on Sunday, taking on the University of Missouri-Saint Louis at 12 p.m.
