Roxanne Stratenwerth and Jessica Watychowicz each won an event for the UW-Parkside track & field team the 2012 Dick Pond Invitational hosted by Lewis University on Friday afternoon.
 
Stratenwerth claimed the 400m dash with a time of 1:02.20. She had a busy day in the sprints finishing eighth in the 200m (27.64) and ninth in the 55m dash (7.78).
 
Watychowicz is now two-for-two in the mile this season as she took the event in a time of 5:08 on Friday. Taylor Miller finished fourth for the Rangers in a time of 5:18.
 
Shalby Reed made her UW-Parkside debut on Friday with a fifth place finish in the 800m run (3:00).
 
Charlotte Smith also had a successful day finishing second in the high jump (1.50m) and seventh in the 400m dash at 1:04.
