The visiting Rangers played to a 1-1 tie against Missouri S&T this afternoon in Rolla, Missouri.  The tie brings the Rangers record to 2-0-1.  Missouri S&T moves to 0-0-1.

The Rangers struck first on a goal by Zoran Jovicic at 35:15 into the first half.  The goal was his first of the season.  However,  the Miners did not take long to respond as Brian Seawright tied the game at 42:45 just before halftime.  Neither team was able to score after that as the two teams battled throughout the rest of the game.

The Rangers finished with 9 shots (5 on goal).  The Miners finished with 18 shots (8 on goal).

The Rangers will be back in action at home Friday, September 10th.  The game is set for a 1:15 P.M. start
