Christine Holthus, a junior outfielder for the UW-Parkside softball team, was a second team pick on the Daktronics All-Midwest Region team. Nominations are submitted and voted upon by the region's Sports Information Directors.

Holthus (Elgin, Ill./Burlington Central) led the Rangers in hitting with a .409 batting average. She started all 51 games. 

Holthus was 32-38 in stolen base attempts. She jacked two home runs, legged out five triples, which paced the Great Lakes Valley Conference, and had nine doubles. Her slugging percentage was .556
